just like the bunny from alice in wonderland...

I'm late, late, late in posting to my blog, blog, blog. It's not that I don't want to post, and it's not like I don't have anything to share...it's just that I'm exhausted and am favoring my bed over most everything. I wanted to share 2 major things that I am majorly late in sharing:

1. Happy Easter! We spent our Holiday going to church, eating lunch by Nana and Papa (The Kohlmeiers), and eating dinner by Grammy and Poppy (The Carsons). The greats and uncles were there too, and cousin Charley...and we had egg hunts and lots of fun at both houses!

2. Happy 29th Birthday to my wonderful, generous, intelligent, funny, handsome husband! I love you AK!

and the winner is...

Aaron Kohlmeier! AK won the election and is Kenosha County Supervisor for District 17 (I think that's how you say it). He won with a little over 70% of the vote and our family and friends could not be more proud of him...me especially! I'm so glad we took the time to get a few shots of the signs on election day. What a great memory!

april fools

I definitely stink at April Fools. I try to prank people but they always call me out, knowing it's April Fools Day. AK got me good today (I tried to trick him earlier today and failed), making me believe my credit card info was stollen. Isn't that so mean? Especially since he knows I am terrified of Identity Theft!

One thing is certain...I am hoping and praying that this wonderful weather we've been having is NOT a cruel April Fools joke. Please, please, please don't let it snow again! It has been 75-80 degrees out the past two days and we are all enjoying it. It's like the Wisconsiners are ALIVE again! I have to admit that the thing I will miss most about the cold weather, quite possibly the ONLY thing, is this lovely coat of Miss Ella's. It brought a smile to my face each time she wore it...and a smile to the faces of many passers-by, might I add. I just hope it fits next year!
